What payment methods does Astute Bookkeepers accept?
We accept bank transfer and direct debit for all invoices. Payment terms are net 30 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Contact us to discuss flexible payment arrangements that work for your business.
How is my financial data kept confidential?
Your financial records are treated with strict confidentiality. We use secure digital storage and limit access to authorized staff only. We never share your information with third parties without your written consent, except where required by law.
Can I terminate our service agreement at any time?
You can terminate services with 30 days written notice. We'll provide a final reconciliation and hand over all your records. Any outstanding fees remain due unless otherwise specified in your service agreement.
What happens if there's a dispute about billing?

We're responsible for accurate record-keeping and timely delivery of your financial reports. We're not responsible for tax advice, financial planning, or losses from decisions made based on our work. Our liability is limited to the fees paid in the contract period.
What information do I need to provide to get started?
We'll need access to your bank statements, invoices, receipts, and payroll records. We also require authorization to collect this information and confirmation of your business structure. We'll send a detailed checklist when you engage our services.
